Technical Data
Style
Musky lovely lift with a very slight touch of nettle or greengage spice. Very big, densely structured, rich and firm but with a long seam of fruit sweetness through the palate. Definitely built for the long term.
Vinification
Grains of Paradise production reflects our wish to exemplify our interpretation of the classic Barossa Shiraz style. Rigorous cap management is practised to get full colour and flavour extraction with the wine then being transferred to a mix of French (60%) and American (40%) barriques, of which 50% are new, for aging on lees for two years. The wine is then given a light filtration prior to bottling.
